Topic: php-xcache provided in remi repo?

Hi,

I only speak english so please reply in english if you can?

I've just been told about the remi repository for latest php 5.2.x and mysql releases.

I currently use the utterramblings repo which supplies php 5.2.6 and various php modules.

I'd like to use remi, but one module I really need is php-xcache, which is the php accelerator, does not seem to be available?

Could php-xcache please be made available?

Thank you.

Michael.

Re: php-xcache provided in remi repo?

My TODO is quite long...

I generally provides extension I use, but I will have a look to this extension (but probably not soon)

For opcode cache I recommend APC which is going to be integrated directly as default opcode cache in PHP.

Just try it

yum install php-pecl-apc

More information : http://pecl.php.net/package/APC
The provided control panel is a really usefull tool for cache tunning.

I also would like to see xcache. APC is very buggy. So I use xcache and his varcache.

I don't see any issue in this article.
