Topic: Firefox 3.5 availability

Hello,

many thanks for the possibility to test the bleeding edge Ffx 3.6, however I still need Firefox 3.5 for many tasks. It turned out that even the most basic extensions like Greasemonkey do not work with the new version yet.

Would it be possible to have firefox35 packages easilly available? I was not even able to find them "manually" so I am currently rebuilding them from source.

Thanks
Rich

Re: Firefox 3.5 availability

Forgot to mention, currently using F10

Re: Firefox 3.5 availability

Old firefox-3.5 still available in the repo.

If you don't want 3.6, just don't install it wink

Re: Firefox 3.5 availability

I did install it, then uninstall - but firefox-3.5 was no longer displayed as an installation option in yumex? It did show 2 3.6 versions to choose from.

Re: Firefox 3.5 availability

Actually yumex displays firefox (which is version 3.6-0.3beta3) and firefox36 (which is version 3.6-0.2beta2), Maybe it was the intention to have "firefox" a 3.5 version but this does not appear to be so in the F10 repo.

Re: Firefox 3.5 availability

Il faut le télécharger et l'installer manuellement.

Re: Firefox 3.5 availability

Thanks. For some reason the firefox package is not listed here http://rpms.famillecollet.com/fedora/10 … /repoview/ ?

Re: Firefox 3.5 availability

Dear Remi,

I would need also the Firefox 3.5.5 Fedora 10 64 bit RPM since 3.6 version presents some problems. Thank you... (in this moment it is not available in your repositories).
