Topic: Request: php-pecl-grpc

Can you make package for php-pecl-grpc

https://github.com/grpc/grpc/tree/master/src/php

Re: Request: php-pecl-grpc

I will take a look again, but last time I checked, building the library was a nightmare

Laptop:  Fedora 38 + rpmfusion + remi (SCL only)
x86_64 builder: Fedora 39 + rpmfusion + remi-test
aarch64 builder: RHEL 9 with EPEL
Hosting Server: CentOS 8 Stream with EPEL, rpmfusion, remi

Re: Request: php-pecl-grpc

BTW, everything is bundle in the pecl package.

Really not suitable for official repository (Fedora / EPEL)
But ok for my repo, package is building, should be there shortly.

Laptop:  Fedora 38 + rpmfusion + remi (SCL only)
x86_64 builder: Fedora 39 + rpmfusion + remi-test

Re: Request: php-pecl-grpc

Fixed in https://git.remirepo.net/cgit/rpms/php/ … 4dcb051ad2

So: https://blog.remirepo.net/pages/PECL-ex … atus#c6794

Laptop:  Fedora 38 + rpmfusion + remi (SCL only)
x86_64 builder: Fedora 39 + rpmfusion + remi-test
aarch64 builder: RHEL 9 with EPEL
Hosting Server: CentOS 8 Stream with EPEL, rpmfusion, remi

Re: Request: php-pecl-grpc

For CentOS 7.x, would it be possible to put this in your yum repo?  We load all other PHP extensions via yum, and nothing via PECL... except we're having to revert to the older way of using PECL just to get gRPC.

Re: Request: php-pecl-grpc

php-pecl-grpc is available in my repository, since version 1.2.0 in April 2017, for PHP >= 5.5

Version 1.17.0 being the current one.

Laptop:  Fedora 38 + rpmfusion + remi (SCL only)
x86_64 builder: Fedora 39 + rpmfusion + remi-test
aarch64 builder: RHEL 9 with EPEL
Hosting Server: CentOS 8 Stream with EPEL, rpmfusion, remi

Re: Request: php-pecl-grpc

@remi thank you for your help. I've now found it.
