Topic: modular setup

Hi,

I like how the remi-modular repository is set up so it matches the modules/profiles setup of RHEL8.

I have been searching online on how to set up a similar repository for our internal use (for other packages) but fail to find any results that seem applicable outside of the fedora build system that is usually described.

Which tools are used by the remi-modular repository to create the metadata files needed by dnf to see the various modules & profiles available in the repository?

Currently I'm using mock and createrepo to generate my certificate but createrepo has non knowledge of modules/profiles.

Regards,
Rik

Re: modular setup

See the mkmodular command which generates the metadata
This is obviously a hack because I donh't want to use MBS / Factory
