Topic: Maintanence of PHP 5.4/5.5

Hi Remi

do you still maintain your PHP 5.4/5.5 packages or did you drop the support?
I'm just asking, because both PHP versions apparently have not received any updates lately and I couldn't find any info about this subject on the fly.

Re: Maintanence of PHP 5.4/5.5

Definitively, use PHP >= 5.6

I will build new 5.4 / 5.5 build if we discover a "critical" security issue.

Low impact security will not be fixed there.

PHP 5.6 / 7.0 will received "ALL" security fix for some time, maintained by a shared effort, by some MS dev and me, on
https://github.com/Microsoft/php-src

Please remind, this is a best effort

Laptop:  Fedora 38 + rpmfusion + remi (SCL only)
x86_64 builder: Fedora 39 + rpmfusion + remi-test
aarch64 builder: RHEL 9 with EPEL
Hosting Server: CentOS 8 Stream with EPEL, rpmfusion, remi

Alright, that's what I wanted know. Thank you for clarification!
I am aware of that, that it is best effort and I do highly appreciate it.

Thank you ;-)
