Topic: Silly question

Centos 6 will EOL on 30 Nov 2020, but my company uses it in multiple servers with a large codebase of PHP 7.0.33.

Upgrade was supposed to happen this year, but COVID-19 threw all plans out of the window.

I just want to confirm that after Nov 2020, the Remi packages for PHP 7.0.33 for Centos 6.x will be available.

I see that PHP 5.x packages are still available with instructions so I guess they will, am I right?

Thanks in advance.

EL-6 Packages will stay available, but won't receive any security updates.

Re: Silly question

Notice than 7.0 is already dead for a while and you should also plan to update to a more recent version quickly

Re: Silly question

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for the advice.
We are moving to 7.3, some sections are already in production.
Hopefully we will migrate everything by end of the year, so that we can catch up to 7.4 next year.

Once again, thanks for the excellent repo!
