Topic: pecl stats php 8 version

Hi

Should there exist a package named php80-php-pecl-stats?

This commit: https://github.com/php/pecl-math-stats/ … b7545e5b15 defines the version as 2.1.0 but no such package has been added to pecl.

Re: pecl stats php 8 version

indeed, no release yet

Please ask upstream

Laptop:  Fedora 38 + rpmfusion + remi (SCL only)
x86_64 builder: Fedora 39 + rpmfusion + remi-test
aarch64 builder: RHEL 9 with EPEL
Hosting Server: CentOS 8 Stream with EPEL, rpmfusion, remi

Re: pecl stats php 8 version

I asked on the commit. as I didn't find any better place to add issue.

Re: pecl stats php 8 version

From https://pecl.php.net/package/stats

"This package is not maintained, if you would like to take over please go to this page."

So looks like a dead package, if no new maintainer raises up.

Re: pecl stats php 8 version

BTW, as the patch exists, I have applied it in the RPM, so now available for PHP 8

but still a dead project

Re: pecl stats php 8 version

Thanks. It seems to work on php8

At least stats_cdf_gamma works and gives same results as with 7.4

And yes I noticed that last actual changes to the project is from 2006 (with some bug fixes in 2016)

Re: pecl stats php 8 version

Btw. version for the library still says 2.0.3 in php8 if that matters something.

This is expected, this is really 2.0.3 + PHP 8 patch

2.1.0 is NOT released
