Bonjour Rémi,

php 7.4 is coming EOL in november 2022.

Will there be security fixes in remi-php74 repository (particularly for EL7) after this date?

Yes, as I'm used to do for other EOL versions (ex https://blog.remirepo.net/post/2021/12/ … 3-is-dead)

Notice that EL7 is close to its EOL in a few months... you should plan urgently an upgrade.


P.S. also notice that because of huge time required, this is a best effort only, no warranty (especially on delay)

Ok, we will quickly migrate to php 8.1.

EL7 can wait (june 2024).
