Topic: The strength of the word "hardly"

I noticed in the repo recommendations for EOL Fedora:

  • Upgrade heartily recommended (Fedora 12, 11, 10)

  • Upgrade hardly recommended (Fedora 9, 8)

  • Upgrade is mandatory (Fedora <= 7)

The word "hardly" is not really between "heartily" and "mandatory", except perhaps in an archaic sense.  The more common meaning is barely or scarcely.  I think "strongly recommended" would more closely fit your intent.  (Too bad for the homophone pun though...)
