Topic: Severe bug in APC 3.1.8 - withdraw?

Maybe consider withdrawing APC 3.1.8 because of the following severe bug http://pecl.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=22687

Regards,
Hans

PS! Why did the APC package change architecture from i386 to i686 - ref http://rpms.famillecollet.com/enterpris … l-apc.html

Re: Severe bug in APC 3.1.8 - withdraw?

Thanks for the report. I will follow this bug.

As I always keep 2 versions online, you can "yum downgrade" this package

Why did the APC package change architecture from i386 to i686

I will look at my build script, seems there is a change somewhere...

Laptop:  Fedora 38 + rpmfusion + remi (SCL only)
x86_64 builder: Fedora 39 + rpmfusion + remi-test
aarch64 builder: RHEL 9 with EPEL
Hosting Server: CentOS 8 Stream with EPEL, rpmfusion, remi

Re: Severe bug in APC 3.1.8 - withdraw?

I tried to downgrade, but I got the "Only Upgrade available on package" warning - maybe because of architecture change? I had to remove and then install - it worked, no worries.

Re: Severe bug in APC 3.1.8 - withdraw?

php-pecl-apc removed from remi enterprise repository (still available in remi-test).

Re: Severe bug in APC 3.1.8 - withdraw?

Can you please test php-pecl-apc-3.1.8-2 from remi-test repository which should fixe this issue ?
