Topic: Looking for Source RPM for thunderbird-5.0-1

This source rpm was replaced by the 6.0 version. I do not see the 5.0 version anymore. Is it still around anywhere?

thunderbird-5.0-1.fc13.remi.1.src.rpm

Thanks

Re: Looking for Source RPM for thunderbird-5.0-1

Thunderbird 5 is not maintained anymore and have a lot of security issues which are fixed in 6.0.x

Re: Looking for Source RPM for thunderbird-5.0-1

I was looking to backport a patch from 7 into 5 to hold us over until 7 is released but I will go ahead and switch from 5 to 6 and apply the patch there. patch: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=676916

Another option is to go directly to 7.0b2 if you plan to have a spec together soon for it.

Thanks for the reply and the rpms!

Re: Looking for Source RPM for thunderbird-5.0-1

With the new quick version update (1 major every 6 weeks), I'm not able to provides build for the stable version (6.0.x) + beta (7.0) + aurora (8.0).

But 7.0 should be available in a few weeks.
