Topic: Firefox 3.5.3 FC7 printing

Hello,

I have installed the firefox-3.5.3-1 package for fedora 7. Everything went well, firefox is installed and opens fine. But if I try to print any page in it, nothing happens. It says it printed successfully, but no job is sent to the printer queue and consequently nothing is sent to the printer.

I've tried the mozilla official binary tar.gz and it works fine with printing.

Anyone with the same issues? Any solution/workaround?

Re: Firefox 3.5.3 FC7 printing

I'm using Fedora 7, only on a VM to test build, but I never "print" anything.

I will do some test for the new coming soon  3.5.4 version.

But you should consider to upgrade to a supported release (Fedora 10 or 11).
The remi repository for Fedora 6 and 7 will not be maintained for a very long time (to much work for very few users)

Yes, we are planning on upgrading our systems to a supported version as soon as possible, but for the time being we need it working with FC7.

I appreciate if you can give it a look, thanks.
