Topic: rnrn Characters on new ticket and when updating the ticket description

I installed the glpi and ocsinventory rpms from your repo. Everything is fine, but when I tested the ticket creation by e-mail I'm getting the "rnrn" characters on the e-mail notification. Checking on the web interface it is ok, but when I edit the "Description" , it shows again the rnrn characters.

Example:
Email Follow-up: Yes
Category: No defined category
Content:
Hello,rnrnGood day.rnrnNeed assistance on e-mail client setup.rnThis is urgent.rnThanks.rnrnBest regards,rnCeejay Cervantes

Thanks in advance.

Yes, this bug have been reported upstream and is fix in SVN (0.72 branch).
I will have a look to backport it to stable (0.71.x) branch

Stay tuned.

Re: rnrn Characters on new ticket and when updating the ticket description

Can you try 0.71.5-4 build :
http://rpms.famillecollet.com/enterpris … /glpi.html

This build is noarch, so will run on Fedora 6 - 11 or EL 5.

P.S it will be usefull for me  to know your distribution / version / arch, for example in your sign.

Re: rnrn Characters on new ticket and when updating the ticket description

Is it ok to perform an upgrade to the currently installed (from remi repo) using this one from remi-test?
Will the data in the database won't be affected?
Or maybe I should try this on other box?

Thanks.
