Topic: Looking for an older MySQL package

I'm looking for the 5.1.50-1 version of mysql-devel for el5 x86_64 (mysql-devel-5.1.50-1.el5.remi).

If that RPM isn't lying around, do you have that SRPM or a spec file to build that version?

Thank you in advance, and thanks for all of your packaging work.

Re: Looking for an older MySQL package

Whaooo... why do you need such an old thing.... (Aug 2010)

I could probably found it in my offline archive.

Do you perfectly understand that this version is absolutely not secured, and affected by various bugs, included lot of security ones ?

P.S. and all my work is available on github, p.e., mysql 5.1.50 spec file

Laptop:  Fedora 38 + rpmfusion + remi (SCL only)
x86_64 builder: Fedora 39 + rpmfusion + remi-test
aarch64 builder: RHEL 9 with EPEL
Hosting Server: CentOS 8 Stream with EPEL, rpmfusion, remi

Re: Looking for an older MySQL package

Yeah -- I know it's ancient. Working in a somewhat legacy environment that's using your builds for mysql, and we have a local mirror -- but the mysql-devel pacakage never made it in that mirror.

We're upgrading to the latest 5.x at some point, but for now, we're stuck at this old version.

Thank you very much for the spec file pointer, I'm going to give that a shot now.

Are all the patches/source files referenced floating around somewhere, too?

Yes, at the same location than the spec files.
