Topic: Firefox 25: URL bar "enter" not working

Looks to be the a similar problem as happened with Firefox 21, here: http://forums.famillecollet.com/viewtopic.php?id=2015, but this time with the main URL bar: typing stuff into it proceeds just fine, but nothing happens when one presses "enter".  Yum's fabulous "downgrade" command lets me get back to your v24 and use the browser to make this post smile

This is with the 25.0-2 rpm.  Rest of the env. is kde desktop, SL6.4 distro.  Haven't tried other permutations of that but could do so if you need more info debugging.

Re: Firefox 25: URL bar "enter" not working

Humm... very strange, I cannot reproduce.

$ rpm -q xulrunner-last firefox
xulrunner-last-25.0-2.el6.remi.x86_64
firefox-25.0-2.el6.remi.x86_64

Have you some extensions installed ? Could your try to disabled them ?

Re: Firefox 25: URL bar "enter" not working

Weird - reinstalled ff25, started it in safe-mode to check if it was an addon.  Everything worked!

Started it in normal mode to try and track down which addon was the culprit: but it still worked.

Something about safe-mode must have cleaned up something in my profile, problem fixed.  It wasn't simply the act of un-and re-installing, I'd done that several times over the course of the last week before posting.

Or, Remi's attention drove the heisenbug away!  I'll take it.

Thanks, and sorry for the false alarm.
