Topic: Roundcubemail

I've been using Roundcubemail 0.9.5 from Remi's repo in CentOS 6 for many months and it works well. Thanks for building it.

I noticed that version 1.0 was released on 7th April. Are there any plans to have this new version added to the repo?

Thanks.

Re: Roundcubemail

I'm not the owner in this package in "Fedora", and package in my repo is only a backport of Fedora/EPEL One.

Probably worth filling a EPEL bug to ask the owner to update it.

Reading the changelog, it seems configuration have changed, and update will not be simple... sad

If I found some free time, I will try to update it.

Re: Roundcubemail

Thanks Remi. I actually noticed you'd built it for F21 on Koji and came here. For some reason, I wasn't emailed to notify me of your posts here.

I'll give it a try later today or tomorrow and post feedback here.

Re: Roundcubemail

Hi Remi

I've now tested 1.0.0-2 and it's working well. I manually merged changes from the two deprecated config files into the new file, so I can't comment on how successful the update script would be. That's probably the feedback you were most interested in, sorry. I only had two lines I had to change, so I was happy to do it manually. smile

Re: Roundcubemail

Thanks for the feedback.

(FYI, merge is done by the "/usr/share/roundecubemail/bin/update.sh" command)

>... into the new file
I hope you mean the "config.inc.php" ? (not the defaults.inc.php, which should not be altered).

Re: Roundcubemail

Yes, I took the two changes from the two deprecated config files and merged them into config.inc.php. I also copy and pasted one option from defaults.inc.php into config.inc.php. I did read the documentation as you suggested. smile

Thanks again.

Re: Roundcubemail

I just moved roundcubemail 1.0.0 to remi repository.
