I installed mysql 5.5.9 from remi repo fine on centos 5.
also instsalled php-mysql, and php 5.3

so far so good.

i have mysql.ini in /etc/php.d/

but phpinfo shows configure command with:
--without-mysql

so how can I fix this to use mysql (never used
centos before so I've no idea)

there's a few other things in configure i'd like to
have enabled or available also, e.g.
gd, sysvmsg, sysvshm, sysvsem, pear,pdo

but they're all currently set to 'disable' or
'without' in configure command !
