Topic: RHSCL mod_php71 el7 httpd compatibility

The mod_php module provided by rh-php71-php is linked against httpd24-httpd (2.4.27). I am looking at using it with the standard Centos 7 Apache (2.4.6).

It seems to work in a simple test. However, will it be stable? Or are there changes between the Apache versions that will break this configuration?

Kind regards,
Jan

Re: RHSCL mod_php71 el7 httpd compatibility

Indeed, rh-php-71-php is designed for rh-httpd24, as if you want the "latest" php you probably also want the "latest" httpd.

BTW, I rather recommend to NOT use mod_php, but php-fpm instead.

It may work, can't say, in all case won't be supported.
