Topic: Connection errors.

Hi,

I am trying to use the remi repository;

wget http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/e … noarch.rpm

But i keep on getting;

Connecting to donwload.fedora.redhat.com|209.132.181.25|:80...failed: Connection refused.

And then on;

wget http://rpms.famillecollet.com/enterpris … ease-5.rpm

A similar message, connection refused, network is unreachable.

I can ping the host and this works fine, i can also see the URL through firefox!

Is there anything obvious i am doing wrong??

Thanks

Andy

Re: Connection errors.

Seems you have an network issue (dns ? firewall ? proxy ?)

Laptop:  Fedora 38 + rpmfusion + remi (SCL only)

aarch64 builder: RHEL 9 with EPEL
Hosting Server: CentOS 8 Stream with EPEL, rpmfusion, remi

Re: Connection errors.

Basically the Connection Errors. This connection has limited or no connectivity. " "You might not be able to access the Internet or some network resources and somewhere it is you might see when you try to connect to a POP3 server to get mail.
