Topic: horde 4 rpms

Hi Remi, What is the status of your Horde 4 rpms?  Are they working for you?  I didn't find an announcement here about them.  I am following the progress in the Redhat bugzilla of all the horde package reviews...huge job, thanks for taking that on.  Wish it was a faster approval process though

I know in your repo you are not supporting php 5.3, but is there an important reason for requiring php(language) >= 5.3 compared with php-common >= 5.3.  It looks like I could install them with yum (on EL6 with php-5.3.3) if not for that.

I see that fix for providing php(language) is slow in coming for EL6 - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=837042

You must think it's possible to use the horde rpms in your repo with php 5.3 in EL6 since they're being submitted to EPEL6.  Any chance you could tweak them to require php-commmon instead until bug 837042 is fixed and that new php version is available on CentOS?

Re: horde 4 rpms

Hi Remi, I commented on 837042.

I am just starting to test the horde rpms with php 5.3 by doing this:

Thanks for all your hard work on this, and your patience getting them into EPEL.  I'll let you know how it goes...
